Component-level main board diagnosis, IC replacement, and BGA rework for televisions across all major brands in Gurugram.
The main board — also called the motherboard or logic board — is the central processing PCB in a television. It handles video signal decoding and processing, audio amplification, HDMI and AV input switching, the TV's tuner, remote control reception, and in Smart TVs, the operating system and Wi-Fi connectivity.
A fault on the main board can therefore produce a wide range of symptoms: no picture, no sound, HDMI inputs not working, the TV switching off after a few minutes, or the remote control becoming unresponsive. Pinpointing which part of the main board has failed — rather than assuming the whole board needs replacing — is the core of what we do.
Many workshops replace entire boards when diagnosing a main board fault. Replacing a full board is simpler, but it is also more expensive for the customer — particularly when only a single IC, capacitor, or transistor has failed.
Where technically feasible, we isolate the fault to the specific component and replace it individually. This approach requires more diagnostic time and equipment, but it typically results in a lower repair cost and is more environmentally responsible.
We use test equipment to isolate the fault to a specific section of the main board before removing any components.
Failed integrated circuits — power management ICs, audio amplifier ICs, HDMI controller chips — are replaced individually.
Ball grid array packages — common in modern TVs — can be reflowed or replaced using our rework equipment where this is the identified fault.
Where component-level repair is not viable, we source and fit a replacement board and advise on cost vs. repair feasibility upfront.
